WINTER STORM PARKING RESTRICTIONS

No vehicles shall park on any town street or property,

at anytime, during a snow emergency. (L.O. 13-46)

 

If the plows are out, please remove your vehicle from the road.

Vehicles obstructing state, county, and municipal snow plows

will be subject to a motor vehicle summons and may also be towed.

 


All posted parking signs supersede local parking restrictions and should be obeyed at all times.

 

Residential Zone Parking Restriction - In Effect:

Persons parking near Centenary College should pay special attention to the signs

posted that prohibit parking without a residential or visitors' permit. (L.O. 13-19b)

Vehicles parked in these posted areas are required to display the parking sticker or visitors' pass

which is issued by the Town of Hackettstown to its residents who live in the areas surrounding the college.

This parking restriction begins every Monday at 6:00 am and continues until Friday 7:00 pm.

* Vehicles displaying this sticker are still required to follow the Overnight Parking Restrictions.

 


 

Overnight Parking Restriction - In Effect:

(Effective October 1st until May 1st of the following year.)

No parking on any town street/property from 3 am - 4 am. (L.O. 13-6)

Vehicle owners requesting to park on town streets or property, between these hours,

are required to call in your license plate number and location to police dispatch (908) 852-3300.
